Our NFPA Interchangeable Air Cylinders Come in a New Size

Our NFPA Interchangeable Air Cylinders Come in a New Size

When you need to add or replace an air cylinder in your equipment, chances are you’ll have to act fast. For example, it takes a long time to investigate different manufacturers’ air cylinder offerings and compare specifications. That time can be better spent actually building or modifying your machine and getting back to work. When time is of the essence, a standard air cylinder that’s dimensionally compatible with other manufacturers’ actuators gives you the flexibility to get equipment up and running quickly.

That’s why we recently expanded our NFPA Series air cylinder range from 1 1⁄2 to 8 inches in diameter. Now, installers requiring an eight-inch bore can quickly replace other manufacturers’ eight-inch NFPA unit with a durable Fabco-Air unit with the same ease it takes to replace many other sizes. NFPA air cylinders ensure the same form, fit and function as an original NFPA-compliant unit from different manufacturers, allowing easier and faster equipment modification and greater design freedom. Highlights of the NFPA Series include:

  • High-strength aluminum construction.
  • Standard strokes up to 99 inches.
  • Larger bore sizes available by request.
  • Pressure rating up to 250 psi.
  • Solid aluminum alloy piston with Teflon® wear band for maximum loading.
  • Stainless steel tie rods rated up to 100,000 psi.
  • 17 mounting styles available.
  • Prelubricated with Magnalube-G® grease.

Fabco-Air Quality Plus NFPA Interchangeability
With the new, eight-inch bore size, it’s even easier to obtain Fabco-Air quality and performance in an NFPA interchangeable air cylinder. Taken together, the NFPA Series’ expanded size range, availability, high performance, durable construction and prelubrication make it an ideal choice whenever your equipment calls for an easy-to-install, standardized air cylinder.
